WORKSHOP: Pain Clinic | Mindfulness | Pharmacogenomics:
The tenth workshop of the Waterloo Region Chronic Pain Initiative will be on Tuesday May 14, 2019 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm.
SCENT FREE PLEASE – Please do not use scented products while attending this workshop, such as perfume, cologne and hair spray.
This is a free event that is open to the general public.
Presentations will begin at 7:00 PM with our speakers:.
- Khrystine Waked (UW Resident Pharmacist) – “Pharmacogenomics” – How genes and drugs interact.
- Jennie Rowe (Social Worker) – “Mindfulness” – managing chronic pain.
- Dr. Scott Cook – Discusses Grand River Hospital’s new Pain Management Centre.
